Bringing a triathlon to Devon like no other, Peak Online Tri begins at North Devon Wake Park with a two-lap stand-up paddleboard obstacle course. Athletes take on the water, navigating the course before heading into the cycling leg.
From there, riders choose a 40-mile or 56-mile bike route through North Devon’s countryside. The final challenge is a 10 km or 13-mile run across Northam Burrows, finishing in Westward Ho!
More than a race, Peak Online Tri is a chance to take on a personal challenge while experiencing North Devon’s landscape and community spirit. Whether aiming for a fast finish or simply determined to reach the line, every participant has a reason to celebrate.
100% of sponsors and sponsorship money goes directly to a Children’s Hospice South West,
Blood Bike South West and more to be confirmed.
Register your interest in the 2027 Devon Adventure Triathlon, taking place on Saturday 18 September. We’ll let you know when entries open and early bird places become available. Registering your interest does not reserve a place.
Early bird pricing will be available until 31 January 2027 or until the first 20 places are paid for, whichever comes first. Once entries open, payment in full will secure your place.
The Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is a UK-based charity dedicated to supporting babies, children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions — and their whole families — across the South West.
CHSW offers a wide range of care services including short breaks, emergency care, end-of-life support, sibling support, emotional and bereavement care, and family accommodation.
Their three hospices — in Devon (Little Bridge House), Somerset (Charlton Farm), and Cornwall (Little Harbour) — provide safe, loving and specialised environments for children and their families to spend meaningful time together.
What makes CHSW especially impactful is its holistic approach: not only medical and therapy support for the child, but also tailored respite for the family, sibling activities, overnight stays, and emergency back-up care. This helps families catch their breath, make memories, and feel less alone.
CHSW is funded almost entirely through donations, fundraising events, charity shops (over 30 across the region), corporate partnerships and gifts in wills.
The charity emphasises that its work “makes the most of short and precious lives” — a powerful reminder of both the fragility and value of the time families share.
All participants will receive sponsored event tri suits, which are mandatory to wear during the event. These suits are provided through our generous sponsors and play a vital role in raising funds for our chosen charity.
In addition, each entrant will also receive an event T-shirt.

Once full payment has been made, no refunds will be issued in the event of ill health or injury unless a replacement participant is found. As this is a non-profit event, we cannot absorb the loss of confirmed entries.
We love that so many participants want to make a difference! However, each event supports specific causes. For this one, Children’s Hospice South West has 20 dedicated places and Blood Bikes South West have 6. The £250 minimum fundraising target is part of your entry requirement.
